Knit and Natter: Your Cosy Midweek Retreat at Wool and Crafts 🧶☕
Share
There’s something special about a shared stitch. The gentle rhythm of needles clicking, the warmth of a cuppa in hand and the easy flow of conversation among friends, old and new. At Wool and Crafts, we believe crafting is as much about community as it is about creativity. That’s why our weekly Knit and Natter has become a regular fixture in the shop.
Every Wednesday from 10am to 12 noon, you’ll find our Knit and Natter group gathered around the table. Whether you’re knitting, crocheting, enjoying cross stitch or bringing along another portable craft project, these relaxed drop-in sessions are a chance to unwind, make progress on your latest project and enjoy good company.

All abilities are welcome, from curious beginners to experienced crafters. Although it’s called Knit and Natter, you’ll find a variety of crafts around the table. Knitting and crochet are always popular, but we regularly welcome cross stitchers and other portable craft projects too. Our group enjoys sharing ideas, celebrating finished projects and helping one another with the occasional tricky pattern or technique.
There’s no need to book, just bring your project bag and pop by whenever you can. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or are a regular at the table, you’ll always find a warm welcome.
These sessions are perfect for:
- Catching up with crafting friends, or making new ones.
- Sharing tips, stories and inspiration.
- Enjoying a creative midweek break.
- Making progress on your latest project in friendly company.
We’ve seen everything from heirloom baby blankets and cosy jumpers to beautiful cross stitch projects take shape around our table, and we’d love to see what you’re working on.
