Kids Summer Crochet Class - 6 Week Skill Building Course

Looking for a creative and calming activity for the school holidays? Our Kids Summer Crochet Class is the perfect introduction to this mindful craft. Designed especially for young makers aged 9 and up, this six-week course will gently guide your child through the basics of crochet, with each session building on the last.

📅 Course dates and time

The course runs every Tuesday from 15 July to 19 August, with sessions held from 10:00am to 11:00am each week. That’s six summer mornings of creativity, learning, and fun—perfect for keeping little hands busy during the holidays.

🧶 What to expect

Each week, children will learn a new technique, from mastering the chain stitch to creating simple shapes and patterns. By the end of the course, they’ll have the skills (and confidence!) to start their own beginner-friendly projects.

👪 A space to learn together

For safeguarding, we ask that a parent or guardian stays in the shop during the session. It’s a lovely chance to relax with a coffee, browse our yarns, or even learn alongside your child if you’re feeling inspired. Although the class size will be small some adult assistance may be required.
